Siam Rice II – Review

WOW!!! This place is great. After some friends told us about how good the food was at Siam Rice II. We decided to check it out. Not only was the food great, the service was beyond reproach. On our first visit we had the Wor-Won-Ton Soup, Siam Rice Noodles, and Orange Chicken. Delicious. Our next trip was takeout. The service was fast, courteous and the food was just as good at home as it was in the restaurant.

Here is what really impressed my family. Upon our third trip to the restaurant, Andy, one of the staff remembered us and our names and an item that we wanted to order that was not available on our first visit to the restaurant. Oh and by the way, everything was consistent with the taste in the food, Incredible. I could go on and tell you of our fourth trip but I would be just repeating myself. So here are some things others have said about the place. I have been going to this place since in the mid 90’s and they never seem to fail me. The food is great and if you like spicy, then this is the place for you.  I don’t live in SCV but my parents do, and every time I visit we at least go here for dinner. Siam Rice II is the place to get great food, great service, and great price if you are hankering for great Thai. The Filet of Fish in a Chili Sauce is both flavorful and spicy with a kick that sneaks up on you. We had it and it is awesome!  This super tasty Thai food at a really good price. The portions are pretty big for the price so definitely do family style and try a bit of everything! The menus pretty huge so there’s lots of stuff to try and the staff is quick and courteous. See their entire menu at http://siamricescv.com/  The restaurant is small and has seating in booths some small tables. The menu is good and has lots of options, even vegetarian. I have never had something bad here. I recommend it to anyone looking for good food at a good price. Bottom line is if you haven’t tried Siam Rice II, you are missing an experience in some great Thai food and great Customer Service.
